Ryad Dyor - Marrakesh

The traditional decor blew us away. Finding the riad was a bit tricky.

Everything was fantastic, fairly clean hotel, comfy location in the heart of the old city. All the staff was fabulously helpful. I liked venue's plentiful and lovely breakfasts with a wonderful view. Location: the hotel was just next door to a quiet residential area of the Marrakech Medina, the Marrakech Medina and Jemaa el Fna square. Had tea and goodies at Cafe Caravan, nestled 1 mi of the property.

the location was exceptionally nice for me as it was just off ryad dyor, the cobbled and marrakech's medina. medina district was worth visiting.

We loved the rich breakfast served on the terrace, and the stunning decor throughout the riad reflected Moroccan culture. Special thanks to the attentive staff who made our stay comfortable and nice.

The breakfast was gorgeous with an awesome view and the staff were affable. It was in a fantastic and good location close enough to a quiet residential area of the Marrakech Medina, covenient taxi and the old town...

The kindness and professionalism of the staff enhanced our experience, making each interaction nice.

The tile grout in the shower had a slightly unkempt appearance, which could use attention to detail.

The staff? Absolute gems-wicked nice, always there when ya need 'em. The hammam was mind-blowing. Seriously, was like heaven. Breakfasts on the rooftop with sick views just hit different. Only downside? The Berber room needed a lil more TLC, but we loved our time here nonetheless. Can't wait to come back!

The area felt sketchy at night, which left us on edge. The bed was overly hard. We found the breakfast options quite limited, especially as vegans with a repeated menu of just bread and jam.

Why I'm torn on this

The service is beyond exception, with the staff consistently going above and beyond. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was delicious, beautifully plated, and an event worth attending.

It was a bit tricky to find the riad, necessitating a taxi pickup to avoid stress upon arrival.

The staff were super friendly and always willing to help. We enjoyed exploring the local markets and indulging in a good cooking class. The room was clean and spacious.

One downside was that there was some building work happening nearby, a bit noisy at times.
